Dorothy TumaFrom a lifetime of painting Dorothy Tuma has become a master water colorist, an artist's artist, a painter of historical places both here and in other parts of the world: The sunwashed Greek Islands, North African Medinas, Mediteranean hill towns and fish boats, English countrysides, the "Impressionists" France, the clear lucid light of Spain; so much like our own Southwest and Colonial Mexico. All this she understands and relates to the impressions she experiences and interprets for your enjoyment.

Since coming to New Mexico from the Midwest she has developed
a love for old adobes and has a special way with the Southwest
landscape, whether watercolor or oil.
Besides a number of one woman shows, her work hangs in many private and public collections throughout the country. She has numerous Best of Show awards to her credit.
